What about your modem? Where does it connect? I put Appletalk in slot 1 and
my SCSI in 7 and I can use all my ports without control panel swapping. If I
wanted to use a direct connect printer I would just change slot 1 back to
printer port.
I suspect that the people who think ROM 3's aren't better have never used one.
Especially since Apple said that an upgrade wasn't "cost effective" when they
first came out. Everyone I know who has used both thinks they are much better.
