If he has an Apple ][ (or pre rev 7 ][+) the character generator is not
compatible with any EPROM so will be difficult to read. Rev 7 and RFI boards
have a 2716 equivalent ROM and are easy to read (I replaced mine with a 2532
and can now do mousetext on my ][+).
