Currently, using the HFS filesystem (the same as used by the Mac)
offers the largest usable partition sizes. If I remember correctly, HFS
allows up to 4 GB (yes, that's 4 gigabytes, or 4000-4096 megs) per partition,
with up to 32 partitions per device. IOW, if you can find a 128 GB hard
drive, you should be able to use it all on your GS.
HFS is done by initializing the drive with the HFS filesystem rather
than ProDOS under System 6.0 or later.
