After I finished the 1st issue of Shareware Solutions II last summer, I sent
a copy off to my sister. She has been an English teacher for the past 30
years. A week or so later, she sent it back to me, all marked up in red ink.

Apparently, I had a lot of grammar mistakes in that first issue, and my
sister volunteered to proof read all future issues of SSII. She has been for
the past 3 issues.

What's interesting about this arrangement is that my sister knows absolutely
nothing about computers. So, all she is doing is making changes of the sort
where "is" replaced by "are" or "who" is replaced by "that". Things like
that. She hasn't changed a single sentence, just a word here and a word
there.

She down-plays what she does, and refuses to allow me to give her credit in
SSII's mast-head.

But, at least, SSII is being proof-read by a nit-picking grammarian.
