Apple //e ROMs
I have a dead Apple //e at home and suspect that one of the startup
ROMs just died of old age. If this is correct, where/how would one
go about getting a replacement? The last time I had to replace the
F8-ROM, I had to get it used from a dealer who had other dead //e's
around. That dealer went out of business some years ago.
Also, upon locating sed chips, I was thinking about offloading the
data to disk via EPROM programmer connected to a 486 box. Figured
that this would be a good way to avoid having to go through the hunt
again. The upshot is that I am wondering what kind of EPROMs you
restore the data to. I've been out of Apple hardware and into
x86 a little to long now. :)
Thanks for any help/pointers.
