Some Imagewriters suffer from ink build-up in the wire nozzle.
1. Remove the print-head. Take care here; it's not really easy to damage the connector
but I know two people who have acheived it.
2. Place the print-head snout first into a shallow dish of solvent. Give it a
swirl occasionally to let the solvent get at the ink. Overnight should do it.
3. Dry with an absorbent cloth.
4. Replace in printer.
