I have had a similar problem repairing my hard disk with UniverseMaster, but
this was because of a bad SCSI cable. I also got more errors every new run.
With a new cable UniverseMaster seems to be reliable. It fixed a few minor
errors after that without problems.

This is way too hard! It has so many capabilities which gave me no problems
at all. I really like the backup features for example, or the overview and
catalog options.
