Or better yet, why don't one of us (I'm NOT volunteering) contact QC and get
THEM in on the debate. I think that they should be made aware of the concerns
being expressed here. I am likewise concerned about the thought of buying a
package of patches to add a little bit to what I can already do with my
current Ultramacros/Timeout setup and then later being expected to dole out
more money for an improved and revamped Appleworks which has had the code
restructured from the ground up (improving speed, compatability, whatnot..).
I'd much rather see QC hold the release for a few more months and produce a
complete enhancement of Appleworks than have to wait another year and pay
through the nose to get what I wanted to start with. Granted it may mean a
loss of immediate revenue (which in today's business world seems to be the
only concern of most companies... who cares about the FUTURE, we want our
money NOW!!), but in the long run would probably be better for them.
