The nice French fella who snail-mailed me HD Install to pass out wrote
about FTA on c.s.a2 ( or was it private mail between me and him? ),
anyway, I know about Gog's status. Not sure if I told anyone though.
Hmm, I wrote my comments kinda quick, I basically agree with Ian, for
the experienced users/programmers/people with some sort of major
online access, ss2 isn't really recommended by me.
What you said you'll send me a copy ( I asked for it ), you said I'm
one of the guy who talks more on c.s.a2. You gave me the impression
that you will be expecting me to say good things to say about ss2. Well,
I'm merely stating my own opinion after what I've read. And yes, I have
read every thing in it.

Well, that's nice to know.

All I was trying to say was, anyone with net access can get nearly all
of the informations in ss2, sooner or later. And I remeber the press
release for 6.0.1 was posted on c.s.a2 long time ago.

It does has the steps, like I said. But it doesn't tell the user
what is being deleted; it doesn't say what a rBundle is. And there are
certainly many other ways to handle icons by using lots of other
freeware/shareware utilities. Such as Reslin, LLRE, rEdit, Foudnation
( 1.0b7 ), CustomRez, and possibly others.

I don't know if I send you a personal thanks ( why should I??? ), although
when I posted Plotting GS on c.b.a2, I publically said thanks to Joe
for snail mailing it the first place. You said you'll snail mail it
to who ever send you an address. And in my opinion, I was just a spring
board to get it distrubuted freely.
And you seem take my comments very personal. I don't feel just because
I got Plottings GS through you, and that I got a free issue of ss2, I have
to say nice things about it. I don't think I have put down ss2 in
my previous post, I just said most information could be obtained
online, and other comments were just some areas I though ss2 could
use some improvements. Too bad you took it as a flame. ( and who always
say no more flames? )
And I was originally gonna keep quiet at first. Because I knew you won't
like my comments, but since you publically asked for my opinions in ealier
post...
