what about the (right) upcoming powerbooks? that are supposed to run 
Mac and/or messy-dos (make that intel based) software?

I was readign the other day that the PB cpu is (according to the
tech stuff) supposed to out perform the Pentium and cost about
half as much... and the first of the joint machines is SUPPOSD
to be out about this time next year.

if this is all it's cracked up to be, i'd jump in that direction.
particularly if they make a desktop model.
