Adjustable Keyboard does not work!

Don't ask me how - I recently got an adjustable keyboard and thought I could
simply connect it to my GS. Once again I learnt that things are rarely plug &
play.

Has anyone experienced problems with these new keyboards? None of the keys
work, only the mouse is doing well. And sometimes a key starts repeating
itself. I had this problem some years ago (because of timing problems with the
mouse) but then the dealer swapped the mouse (optical => mechanical *sigh*). Do
I have to reswap the mice???
