Well, as I said in my post, I've just done the translation of my Applewriter
files from my Apple to my Mac, and while I don't recall which version of
Applewriter I have, I can assure you my Apple is a ][+, and not a ][e (unless
the store gave me a great deal without telling me)!
 
A ][+ with 48K, at that.
 
Perhaps Applewriter version 2.0 runs on 48K ][+'s...
