    Hey, that's exactly what I use here!  My first two partitions are
named Calvin and Hobbes.  Where did you get the icons?  The Davy's
Dingbats (or is it Davy's Other Dingbats?) Truetype font contains many
amusing cartoon characters, including 5 or 6 C&H pics.  Since they are
Truetype, you can scale them to any size you want.

    Anyway... since you're using System 7.1, the easier way would be to
get hold of that Truetype, type out the font, copy the appropriate
character and paste it into your hard drive's Info window.  If that
doesn't work, you can draw the icon in a paint program, copy the graphic
to the clipboard, then paste it into the Info window.  I think I found
this Truetype on the sumex.stanford.edu FTP site.
