Greetings,
I've got both the Original Publish It! and version 4 and am trying to
find a way to print a newsletter, or anything else with Publish It,
from an emulator on the Mac. I tried Sweet16 and it looks like Publish
It tries to print directly to the Laserwriter, or any other printer,
so I can't get it to use SweetPrinter that Sheppy has in Sweet16.
I've also tried Virtual II, I downloaded version 6.3.1, and Publish It
doesn't seem to run right in that emulator. The original version will
boot up but when you get to the main screen the pointer disappears and
the work area goes black. With version 4, on the other hand, the
pointer does remain visible but then leaves a trail of pointer across
the screen as you move it. Also when trying to select one of the drop
down menus it will continually cycle the entire screen and it is
impossible to choose an item on any menu because you can't see what
you're trying to select.
As far as I know these are the only two Apple II emulators that will
allow you to print out something you've created in an Apple II
program. Anybody have any ideas?
