I would like to ask if anyone knows where I could buy single keycaps for
a platinum (extended keyboard) //e. Mine just happend to be shipped with
a second 'G' keycap in place of the 'S'. I've taken to putting a label
over it (although I touch-type reasonably well, the sight of the 'G' where
I expect an 'S' during late-night hacking runs still causes some interesting
substitutions).
In addition, the plastic label-tape chunk with the 'S' on it eventually comes
off and leaves a gooey mess on the key until I stop, clean it with paint
thinner, and put a new label on. I'd like a more permanent solution.
So, does anyone know where I could by a single 'S' (or other) keycap for a
platinum //e keyboard without buying the whole set? Could I contact KeyTronic,
(mfgr of kybrd)? Or what?
Thanks.
