A&W DISASTER! Hardware Help!?!

I had a small disaster last night with my old IIe Keyboard.
After 10 long years I finally spilt a glass of A&W Rotbeer into it.
I have given it a bath in CRC aerosol contact cleaner, this seems
to help for awhile, untill all the cleaner evaporates.  Then
keys start getting sticky again!  Any soulutions would be appreciated.
This is an emergency since it is the end of the term and 
this machine must be depended upon for papers and other items.
 
Lastly if I have to replace it I wil go with Shreve Systems unless
someone knows a cheaper source!  The original keybord (pop soaked) 
is from an old preenhanced beige machine.  Can I buy a newer
extended key pad (Platinum) keybord for this machine?  I already
have the old keyboard mounted in its own case with 6ft. of ribbon
cable to emulate a GS or IBM style detached board.  Any suggestions
would be apprecated.
