As a last resort, try removing the keyboard from the //e case, taking it
to the shower with you, and rinsing it off. I read about this in an
Apple // computer magazine a while back, but I can't remember if they
said to use soap or not. I wouldn't use standard bar soap for sure, but
you might try dish soap. Once you think it's clean, step out of the
shower and let it dry THOROUGHLY before plugging it back into the //e
(say, 24 hours at max).
Remember, this is a last-resort effort, but something you might try.
It's too bad I can't remember where I read this, but all my magazines
are at home, anyway.
