Stacker on the PC clones works *really* transparently... as far as I can tell.
AutoDoubler on the Mac, and AutoArk for the ][gs all SLOW down the machine
noticably. I'm wondering how well HardPress can do...
Reading from magazine/journals, Stacker actually makes booting into Windows
slightly faster. Because it takes fewer time to load compressed stuff. I
guess this is due to fast processors. I think the ][gs definetly needs
some hardware to go with HP/AA.
