Trouble is, if this is gonna be a PERMANENT storage device as Jawaid suggests,
then it would have to be bigger than 130 MB. Many GS'ers have drives at least
this big and they fill up fast. Add non-GS specific stuff such as TT fonts,
Amiga MODS, GIFs, sound samples, and so forth, and 130 MB will seem like my
5.25" drive compared to my HD. On the other hand, if we have a cool moderator
who's not afraid to zap useless, redundant or outdated stuff found on OTHER
ftp sites (ahem) and will only take on GS-specific software, it should be fine
for a long while, as long as GS software keeps coming out at the rate it is
now. But, I liked the suggestion that we spread out the software among the
several sites we already have and avoid redundancy and load on one specific
site. My 2 bytes worth.
