GIF program authors? (Jonah Stich, Thomas Dorris)

With my CD drive working, I have become interested in the possibilities
of GIF images and such.  I've been playing with a few programs, but I
have been running into a few problems.

ISO 9660 format CDs have no (GS) FileTypes, and VAX-style revision numbers
appended to the filenames.  This makes using the discs somewhat difficult
for certain programs that insist on proper FileTypes and/or filenames.

In particular, I have been impressed by three programs: SuperConvert (demo),
GIF3200, and GIF View.  Each has definate weaknesses, though:
SuperConvert - Works on CD files, but costs $30 and is very slow.
GIF3200 - fast and nice results, but only likes TXT and BIN files
GIF View - great for browsing disc, but only likes *.GIF filenames

Does anyone have any other GIF programs, or valid e-mail addresses to
the authors Jonah Stich (GIF3200), or Thomas Dorris (GIF View)?
