Keyboard Problem. Help!

Hello! I have a problem...

Here it is:

I am having a keyboard problem with my IIGS.  Sometimes, lots of the
time lately, it will just die...I mean it will stop sending input
of any kind to the machine.  The mouse will still work properly but
the keyboard freezes. I can't do OPEN_APPLE CONTROL RESET or anything.
I have to turn the thing off and then back on to get the keyboard to
work again.  It always seems to happen when I'm in a text-based program,
but then again it might be happening other times and I just dont know it
because I'm not really using the keyboard , I'm using the mouse instead.

I'm pretty sure it is not an application problem because it happens 
with all sorts of stuff, such as when I'm in Orca shell and when using
Apple II kermit and when I'm playing Infocom Games.

Does anyone know why or has anyone had the same or a similar problem?
