More than likely. But .PRINTER also does some text formatting of its own
depending on how it's configured. A more "raw" device is the one GS/OS creates
for the printer port (.DEV3 on my system, I think). When GS/OS creates device
drivers, they simply use the ROM in $Cx00-CxFF.
