Yes, I know this (after all - that is the basis of my question :) ).
What I would like to know is - what is the equivalent of the MAXFILES
command under ProDOS? I can not find one yet I can not open more than
one file per program (ie:I have tried to open two files and switch
between them but I get the NO BUFFERS message or the switching doesn't
work. Either way is not acceptible. And PLEASE! No comments about
"Why are you doing this in basic?" All I want to do is to add a single
character onto the end of every line in a text file. Basic is the easiest
(at least it was) way to do this.).
