I thought you were going to say "Our country knows much more about
Americans in general than they know about themselves".

Judging from the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, his segment where he
walks the streets and asks people simple questions, mostly about this
country - I could see this being true.

I'm appalled at the stupidity that exists in this country...
The quote on the statue of Liberty:
"Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me..."

I'm still looking for "stupid" in that quote.
