Well, yeah, you can use Personal Filesharing in System 7 on the Mac to
share 
volumes/folders with your GS, but it would be very advantageous to ALSO
have
a hard drive on your GS.  Booting the system is just soooo much faster
on a hard drive (esp w/RamFAST card) than off of floppies.

So yes, filesharing is a very handy way to use part of a Mac's drive for
storage, but
it definitely is slow doing stuff over the network, and having a hard
drive
locally is better.
