This pot is inside the monitor's case.  If you mean can, read on...

I've had success in the past restoring glitchy pots that would not
respond to a spray treatment by removing the can from the back of the
pot for a more direct cleaning of the wiper and the resistive
surface.  I'm not talking using toothbrushes or scrapers, usually and
index card soaked in alcohol.  Works wonders sometimes.
