Everything that is possible on the NES should be possible on
the C64. It may not look 100% identical as there are some
differences in the capabilities of the video hardware but it's
nothing serious. The C64 may utilitize less colors for example
but on the other hand could show more of the map as it has
a different aspect ratio than the other versions.

In fact there are several different versions of the game for
various platforms (NES, SNES, MSX & MSX2, Gameboy
Color and even cell phones) and most look different.

Note that the original name of the game is "Dragon Quest"
and that it was renamed for the American market and some
modifications/enhancements were made.
