Currently, the chat is at 11:00 am GMT, or 12:00 BST. I would make that
6:00am EST, but you also need to allow for your summer time, which will
probably make it 7:00 am for you.

Come Autumn (Fall), the chat goes back by two hours, to 10:00am GMT.
This is because of summer time changing to winter time in the northern
hemisphere, and the changing from winter time to summer time in Oz.

These times mean it is ideal for anyone in Europe who can spare an hour
or so during the day on a Friday. This includes me of course...

In the winter, we pick up the odd insomniac from the west coast, though
as yet, we rarely see anyone from those islands off to the west who are
probably out partying at that time on a Friday night...

The chat normally lasts a couple of hours, as the Oz contingent tend to
start to fall asleep as it approaches the witching hour for them! :)
