Yes, I know about the MS-DOS tools. It would just be nice if it was
feasible for them to be made into a proper FST rather than requiring a
special method of copying files to/from MS-DOS volumes.

(It is a moot point for me - if I ever need to transfer data to/from my
IIgs, it is likely to involve a Mac, so AppleTalk, HFS and Mac-side
ProDOS support are sufficient.)
