I agreed with you on this. That's why I already said both Applesoft
and TML Pascal II are good solution My son has learned Applesoft (in a
week), and he preferes TML Pascal II more (he said it is more English
like). I also prefer to teach him TML Pascal II simply because:
- TML Pascal II IDE is more natural to him - not saying better - than
Program Writer he is using for Basic editing.
- TML Pascal II has super hires support, this is better than HGR
- TML Pascal II has a better language, and introduce structural
programming
So between these 2, and if you do have an Apple IIGS, TML Pascal II is
a better choice for prototying. I can't find anything like these 2 in
PC and Mac... and still looking.
