I see a dilemma here. On the one hand, I would like to know what is
being developed, so I do not tread on anyone's toes, or could
collaborate on a project, and on the other hand, I prefer to keep my
software development secret, until it is finished and ready for release.

I prefer to work at my own pace, and so not have the pressure that would
inevitably ensue if I made public what I was doing. I have seen the
reputation of too many developers suffer in the past, because they have
started something, and never finished it.

So a dilemma for me at least...
