Just curious as to your opinion on disk head cleaners, the type with a
floppy disk with a pad in the middle that you put alcohol on and run through
your drive.

I used these for many years without difficulties. Then recently, have had to
toss about 3 3.5" drives while using one such cleaner on those drives. One
use, and they fail to work thereafter.

Fortunately, 3.5" drives aren't a problem for me as I have a box of
newly-pulled drives (about 30).
