I have used them many, manay, many times and never had the problem you
had. Although using certain 3.5 diisks seem to foul the the heads and
they seem to have more flaws then the 5.25s.

Either the Cleaning Media came apart, or maybe froze up to knock the
the 3.5 heads out of postion.

Only 30, I have a few times that myself.
