When using the actual physical hardware, I prefer the ROM 3.
In terms of software emulators however, I favour the ROM 01.
(e.g. KEGS-32, Bernie, etc).

I was going to chime and point to the list I wrote up and
posted to comp.sys.apple2 a few years back, but I see
you've already linked it.
I welcome seeing it distributed around, however I'm a little
disturbed to see it is crediting "Scott G." as the author!
Especially since he and I had a number of public disputes
back a decade ago, over the misinformation he'd post.
