Installing over the existing system would not alter the order of the
Inits and DAs.

If you installed over the existing System 6, then try reordering Inits
as I suggested. To do this, you must remove them all from the folder and
put them back again so they will start up in a different order. The
easiest way to do this is to rename the folder, make a new folder with
the old name, and then drag them over one by one in a different order to
how they were before.

Were you running an older version of Marinetti before you installed
Marinetti 3, and so this is a new install of Marinetti 3? If so, your
continued crashes would suggest you have a hardware problem somewhere.

Have you run the hardware system check on the IIgs, and run a memory
check? You might have a DMA or memory problem.

Finally, have you reseated all your cards, and cleaned the power
connector contacts recently? If the screen flickers during floppy disk
access, this indicates that the connectors need cleaning and you are not
getting full power to the slots.

All the development for the Marinetti Uthernet driver, SAFE2 and SNAP,
was made on a IIgs running Marinetti 3 with a Uthernet card. I had no
crashes such as you describe during that time.
