I thought the "65Host" BBC Micro emulator was in ROM, but I've just
checked on an Archimedes emulator and it seems it's on one of the
system disks instead. (The Apps in ROM include a text editor, paint
program, vector art program, calculator and an alarm.)

Both were written in ARM assembly language.

The source for 65Host is not available AFAIK. I will email you the
source for Virtu, though it's likely Charlie Springer (or others on
this group) may have better ARM code for this by now.
