No, you can boot to Finder and do most things with 1.125 Meg on a ROM 3.
Loading it up with bells and whistles will be a problem, as will a few
"power programs" (HyperCard, IIRC, requires 2 Meg to function properly).
For example, right now I'm running Spectrum 2.0 under System 6.0.1 and,
according to Super Info II, I'm using 1681K of memory. But 508K of that
are desk accessories, and another 97K are init files, so I should be fine
with 1152K.

A tip -- three things a GS owner should not be without in this day and age:

1) A 4-meg (or larger) RAM card
2) A CFFA card or equivalent
3) A set of powered speakers (to turn off that dying cat Apple put inside
the case. Do NOT judge the GS's sound by that cussed internal speaker.)

One of the all-time greats. Who could argue?

On the PC? Egads! Is nothing sacred? Oh well. But after all these years,
I still think it was not only the best game ever published for the GS but
also the best program for quickly showing off what a GS could do with clever
programming. And a heckuva lot of gun to play, too.

Good luck in your gold-stealing adventures...
