I certainly don't want to be unpolite but do you really think that I
don't know what the difference between http: and file: is ?

I'd suggest that you check out the Contiki sources first and contnue
to argue then  - or even better just go ahead and implement it ;-)

I already invited everybody interested in doing so further up this
thread !
