I went with a little inspiration from BLuRry's Apple II Game Server.
The ADTPro server now has the ability to send bare-metal bootstrapping
information over the serial line to an otherwise DOS-less Apple to get
it going. No need to download dos33.dmp or adt.dmp from the net any
more... it' s built into the server.
While I was there, I updated the original DOS ADT client (which one
would need to get from DOS to ProDOS) to speak natively to the IIgs at
115k baud. I could never get ADTgs to work correctly, so I just
decided to take the bull by the horns, stay up late, and make it all
work right. I'll send the source to the ADT project on berlios to make
sure the source gets out in the wild. But for now, it's built into the
ADTPro server and it'll blurt it out the serial port no matter your
platform: Windows, OSX, or Linux.
