Bag Of Tricks ("Fixcat") will recover the files. Version 2 also handles
ProDos disks and has a fancier user interface:

I wasn't familiar with the show, but I looked it up--thanks!  ;-)

Being retired has its advantages in terms of time.  Since I lost
a disk with important data (and found I had a bad backup!), I've
been fascinated by what goes wrong with disks, and how to recover
the data.
