The next thing to replace is the felt component (well, rubber), which seems to collapse with age. I'm looking for suitable felt to replace it and improve it.

Are you referring to the foam rubber strip under the front of the keys?
I've noticed that mine is crumbling away, although it doesn't really
affect playability...
Since you're taking yours apart, how about a few pics and maybe a
dissassembly and repair tutorial...? :)

Working on it :D

It's dead simple, tbh. Anyone who should be mucking around in it, should be able to figure it out!

The foam strip on mine has turned into goo, basically. I'm also considering modifying an aftertouch strip to perform the functions of one of the switches :D

This is 61-key - I don't know what the smaller keyboard is like.

I believe only the 61-key was velocity-sensing (SPDT key contacts).

Yep, but I don't know if the smaller keyboard uses touch contacts (like a modern synth), or single-wire contact, or what. Or who made it, though I'd be guessing it to be another variant of the same mechanism.
