I tried Wine briefly a few months back. I found that I could do a few
things, but it was pretty easy to get Wine to fail by looking at stuff
in the file viewer. I'm not sure why the Shrinkit handling would go
wonky -- it's just NufxLib (from NuLib2) -- but it's possible there's
some weirdness with the DLL and libc functions.
I was hoping to be able to run CiderPress under valgrind, which allegedly
you can do through Wine, but I never got that to work.
(All the code relating to disk images and ShrinkIt archives runs under Linux,
and has been subjected to valgrinding, but it'd be great to run the UI
portions through it.)
