cf card to ide adaptor will it work via vulcan controller?

the above link has the following little device a CF card to IDE 
adaptor..dual..for use with old pc's as ide drives i gather....(ie ancient 
like 200meg ide drives)

anyway....the link is below it is like 99c for one and like around $6 to 
ship it..but what i was wondering is...could this be used on the end of a 
vulcan internal card for the // line with a standard ide cable..i have a 
vulcan card but no
hd with it...i think? gse-reactive.com has an adaptor that does the same..

anyway just wondering what you all think here....be interesting if such 
devices would replace an ide for say the primus hd card...or focus hd card 
...or vulcan hd card..all of which are ide i think

of course maybe most/some of you already know this works and i again am 
behind the curve (common to me)
