Hello David and all others,

I've double-checked my quartz and actually it's marked 14.318 MHz and
listed as 14.318000 in the seller's catalog, which I also checked again.
Now of course this would be ca. 182 Hz off the true value -- probably
far enough to prevent correct detection?

Or is this likely to be just an inexact marking, after all what's the
point of a 14.318000 MHz quartz?
