There are several people here who have their computers on all the time.

I think it would be a good idea to do the following:

new html tag, Apple II specific,

<HGR img src = "filename.hgr">

or something similar... HGR image, 8k in size.

or a bitmap format, which would be shown on a certain part of the
screen:

<BitMap img src = "filename.bitmap" X=279 Y=190>

For images that are already on the net, someone with PC programming
skills and an Apple II programmer could do the following:

1)apple II web browser loads a webpage
2)apple II encounters IMG SRC html tag
3)Apple II calls another computer, a PC. Says "I need image ABCD.XYZ
from http://asdf.jkl, this is an apple IIe calling"
4)the PC grabs the images off the net, resizes them, reduces their
colors, and then sends them to the apple II. The resizing and color
reduction depends on what type of computer called the PC.
5)the apple II displays the images on the HGR screen
