May as well throw in my eight bits. ;-)

I've always resented Apple for ditching the // series, and haven't even
bothered with Macs until recently. When I could no longer keep my //c
clone online, my brother made sure I could stay online by giving me his
PC castoffs. It wasn't until recently when I started working on my
graphic design degree that I realized that I'd have to learn something
about Macs, because most professionals work on them. (I also found out
that some of the older Macs make great peripherals for my Apple // GS.)

I really don't understand why Macs are the industry standard in graphic
design. I learned on PC's at school, and the software that most graphic
designers use is the same on either machine. The only real difference
comes out when you burn your stuff on CD.

Well, maybe things will change some, now that Macs can run Windoze. I
just want to be able to do what I like doing best on what I have, and
can afford.
