That's not an error, machines that factory shipped with the enhanced
chipset had a "65C02" sticker. The "Enhanced" sticker, I believe, only
came with the Apple IIe Enhancement Kit.

It's possible the "6502" sticker was unique to either Canadian or late
model Apple IIe's. I've actually seen Apple IIe's up here, first hand, with
the 65C02 sticker badge (my cousins bought one, just before the platinum
IIe was introduced).

Having wrote the entire article myself, I take great personal offense
from that comment, especially if you're accusing me of plagiarism!

I certainly did nothing of the sort, most of the article I just wrote off
the top of my head, based on past discussions I've taken part in here
on comp.sys.apple2, or my own experience with the IIe. As a matter of
fact I looked up a couple of my old posts to jog my memory (and I pulled
out my IIc owner's manual to double-check the chip count number inside
the IIe). Most of it though I just wrote up from memory.

I did read Steven Weyhrich's Apple II History some 15 years ago,
back when he uploaded it to the GEnie Apple II Roundtable area.
I'm sure some of it rubbed off; actually when I read it back then, it's
what really got me into Apple II collecting (before that I was just a II
user). I would never steal someone else's writings, it really brothers
me that I'd be accused of that.

>It's a good start, but it needs a lot of editing.

Agreed, it's not perfect or finished (if you click the "history" link at
the very top, you'll see I whipped the whole thing together in one day).
I already corrected the few things Michael pointed out, and I've
noticed two other people started editing a small bit or two.

I also started some changes on the "Apple II family" article, with some
new images and wrote two new introductory paragraphs mentioning its
significance rather than just Apple's financial stepping stone to the Mac. :)
