Switch-a-slot is a box that has a long ribbon cable that runs to a card
that plugs into an Apple II slot..  The box has a few apple II slots
within it, and a switch on the front to change which card is active
(connected to the apple II bus)

ProSlot is an interface card with 2 apple II slot connectors on it.
The active card is switched through software.

Both systems only have one of the cards active at one time.

There was also the Mountain computer expansion system that worked
similar to the switch-a-slot, I think.
