ah...crap!!!!!...i need everything above too..except the 4meg ram card...
dang it i figured i had all this apple // stuff licked since i've been
collecting this
stuff since i got my 1st apple //e in fall of 1983....

this is no fair you guys are making more and more stuff and it is getting
hard
and expensive to keep up (..ah the good old days when people would give
me siders....sigh)

not to mention the fact when people start talking about uthernet cards and
speeds,
svg semi-virtual solid state drives....contiki....etc etc... i get
confused...and mumble
stuff..like where is the floppy disk...what the heck is this gizmo and why
...gasp..is it
serially connected to the ms dos machine....(whispers...come to the dark
side)

crap you probably could make an apple // gs put everything in the box
itself...the cffa card,
accelerator, etc.....and someone like me arriving from 1983 would
go..."golly...must be magic see
the purty lights....maybe if i pick it up and shake it..i can figure out how
the hamsters inside
can make it work...

it is all great stuff..but soon i'm gonna need a tutor and a much bigger
bank account...

(maybe i'll now go to the C-ONE site and look at the pretty pictures and
scratch my head some
more..and don't even get me started on the FPGA setup..i've read the
description twice and still
have no idea how that all hooks together....with gates and whatnot, lego
like hooks..gave me a
headache)

sigh...i be a guru no more...just another rat in the upgrade
race...well...at least it is with apple //
stuff ..that is novel..to say the least

(stumbles off....mumbling...ok no disk drive...a Semi-Virtual Drive....but
could they at least make it with an option to
make a little whirly noise when you fire it up..for nostilgia...?)

tongue in cheek
