For practical purposes, yes.  A gigabyte(s) HFS volume works fine with A2
appleshare (IIgs, LC+IIe card, A2+workstation card).  The only 'feature'
you will notice is that blocks free/used on the volume stop at 32Meg.  But
you can use all of the hfs volumes with A2 files and the ProDOS Appleshare
will access all of the files.  You do have a limit of 51files in the root
directory, but that is what subdirectories are for.  FYI, A2 block
utilities do not work with Appleshare volumes (in general).
